Three branches divide the two forces, black and white lead in dual rows. Go has once been a symbol of Eastern wisdom, and also the place where the spirits of many players seek the Way without extinguishing. But by 2023, perhaps the most viral piece of Go news was that professional 2-dan player Zhan Ying won the title of Hupu Goddess of the Year. (Of course, there is nothing wrong with that!)
